Acceptable use policy

1. Scope

This policy is part of the terms of service and the contributor terms. It applies to everyone who uses Proven Praise, including through the API, the MCP server and AI tools.

2. Honest testimonials

Do not:

  1. Make, buy, sell or post fake testimonials, or testimonials from people who are not real customers.
  2. Use AI or any other tool to make a testimonial, a voice or a face that a real customer did not give.
  3. Send a testimonial about your own business, or ask staff, owners, family or related parties to do so, without disclosure.
  4. Ask only customers who you expect to be happy, or filter customers by their expected opinion.
  5. Make a gift, a discount or other incentive depend on a positive opinion, a rating or a public review.
  6. Hide or remove the disclosure of an incentive or a material connection.
  7. Suppress, threaten or punish customers for a negative opinion.
  8. Break the rules of review platforms, for example by asking only some customers to post a public review.

Do not:

  1. Use a testimonial in a place that the contributor did not allow (website, social media or ads).
  2. Use a testimonial after the contributor withdraws it.
  3. Change the meaning of a testimonial: splice, reorder, add or remove words to change what the contributor said.
  4. Put the "Verified customer" badge or a verification link next to content that Proven Praise did not verify.
  5. Remove, hide or imitate the badge, or change the verification page.
  6. Ask for or use a testimonial from a person under 16.

4. Requests and email

Do not:

  1. Send requests to people who did not pay you, or to lists that you bought or rented.
  2. Contact a person about a testimonial after they unsubscribe.
  3. Use Proven Praise to send marketing, or more than the request and the one reminder.

5. Content

Do not use Proven Praise for content or products that:

  1. Are illegal, or promote illegal goods or services.
  2. Are sexual, hateful, violent or harassing, or exploit children.
  3. Infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy or publicity rights.
  4. Make health, financial or other claims that you cannot prove.

6. The service

Do not:

  1. Try to get around plan limits, security controls or the signature system.
  2. Forge, change or copy a verification record or a signature.
  3. Access another account or data that is not yours.
  4. Scrape, overload, attack or reverse engineer the service.
  5. Use testimonials or data from Proven Praise to identify people from their face or voice, or to train AI models.
  6. Share your API keys or let an AI tool act outside these rules.

7. Reporting and enforcement

Report a breach of this policy to hello@provenpraise.com. We can remove content, hide testimonials, revoke keys, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. We can report illegal activity to the authorities.
